Portobello East December Vendors Part 1

So, in no particular order, I will take the next few days to post some pictures and links of many of the very talented artisans and designers present at the market last weekend. Jules Mae was also selling there, but let's take this time highlight other Canadian designers.  Have a looksie and you may find something you just can't live without!

Lets start with Dawn Barbieri of Albertine Dawn.  She hand-makes accessories from vintage and sustainable fabrics. I didn't have much time to chat with her, but a few of her very high end looking accent pillows definitely caught my eye.

Blueberry Junkie  presented handmade items for modern and stylish tots.  Some dang cute stuff!

Joanna Recine of Good Energy Break recommends  Shea Coco Butter Delight:

"it is a creamy healing cream to moisturize you deeply, protect you from sun, heal eczema and dry, itchy and rashy skin. Also heals rigid joints and arthritis when you give it the time."

Alison Ellett of Alison Ruth Designs had a wonderful display of accessories for women and men.

Ann Cockfield of Phresh Threads presented beautiful clothing and unique accessories. She can be reached here: Phresh Threads

Pink Cloud Designs' designer Betty Hui created some gorgeous hair accessories abound with feathers and sophisticated accents.

Stella Kim of Mint hand crafted jewellery displayed some stunning pieces.

Natalie Simms' N.S. Designs  showcased streetwear and graphic tees.

Jacqueline Chau, Choclatier, of Coco Mosaic, and talented artist. ... all I can say is, Oh.  My.
Not only does she make chocolate a stunning display of artristry, but chocolate that is sure to make your taste buds sing the fa la la la la's all the way through the holidays.

Slashpile Designs. Style and humor ... my favorite pairing! These twin sisters have it down.
Check out their molecule jewelery!

For fun and delightfully quirky prints and graphic tees, check out Hieng Tang.

Natasha Gatto's handmade collection, Top Drawer Intimate.

Sui Generis by Jordan de Ruiter: Unique handmade clothing.

That's it for now. Check back soon. Many more clothing and jewelery designers, visual artists and cosmetics gurus to come.  Thanks for looking!
